How to install RB30E Extractors[edit]

Tools[edit]

These are the tools required - socket set, extension, offset ring spanners, and a big hammer:

Heatshield Off Manifold[edit]

Using the Socket Spanner and a 6mm bit and a Extension bar or Screwdriver remove the screws/bolts on the Heatshield:

Manifold Off Head[edit]

Some of the nuts are shrouded very closely by the manifold casting, so you'll need the thinnest wall socket you've got. Unbolt the manifold nuts:

Slip the manifold back off the studs:

Flange Off Cat[edit]

Unbolt the flange from the cat:
